What To Expect
Working with 850 Photography is designed to be seamless from start to finish. Here's a full walkthrough of what you can expect at every step of the process.
Booking
Book online through our scheduling portal or reach out directly. You'll select your package, choose your date and time, and provide the property address with the SQFT. Confirmation is sent immediately with all the details.
Pre-Shoot Preparation
You'll receive a preparation checklist to share with your seller. Properly preparing the home — decluttering, cleaning, and staging — makes a significant difference in the final photos. The more prepared the home is, the better the results.
Day of the Shoot
We arrive on time with professional equipment. The shoot typically takes 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the property size and services ordered. You don't need to be present, but you're welcome to be.
During the Shoot
We photograph each room / space by order — starting with the exterior, then working through the interior. We adjust lighting as needed, style small details, and ensure every space is captured at its best. Drone flights are also conducted safely and in compliance with FAA regulations.
Post-Production
Every photo is professionally edited for color accuracy, exposure balance, and overall look.
Delivery
Your photos are delivered by the next business day. You'll receive an email with a link to download all files in full resolution or MLS resolution. Images are formatted and ready for MLS upload, social media, and print marketing.
After Delivery
Your gallery remains accessible for download on your account. If you have any questions or need anything adjusted, reach out — we stand behind our work and want you completely satisfied.
What Should The Seller Do?
- Remove cars from the driveway and front of the home
- Turn on all interior lights, including lamps and under-cabinet lighting
- Clear countertops of personal items, dishes, and clutter
- Make all beds and tuck away cords
- Remove personal photos and valuables from view
- Ensure pets are secured and out of the way
- Mow the lawn and tidy the yard within 24–48 hours before the shoot
The better prepared the home is before we arrive, the stronger your listing photos will be. We always aim to make the most of every shoot, but preparation is the single biggest factor in great results.
